2017 Season Set To Start March 20th
The first fixture on the Cougars 2017 calendar is the Spring Break Camp.
9-Noon for the 5 days of spring break. Ages 9-13.
Register through Courtenay Rec - Lewis Centre
2017 Season Membership Registration is now open
Ready to get running, jumping, & throwing?
Regular practices will be starting MARCH 27th for all ages down at the Vanier Oval!
Register anytime before April 30th (we're a nice, self-paced individual sport!)
We don't take attendance... attend any or all sessions as you are able to fit in your schedule.
JD's (9-13 years) : Monday & Wednesday (5-6:30pm), Saturday (10-11:30)
Midget & older (14+) : Multiple days are available aside from the above - check with our coaches

You can also find us down at the track Saturday mornings between 10 & noon, working with our older athletes that train year-round.

We regret that we are not able to support athletes requiring additional support at this time (physical, developmental, or behavioral).

Spring Recreational Programs
SPRING-BREAK TRACK CAMPS : 9-13 year-olds
In the Spring RECREATION REPORTER is a special spring-break program for 9-13 year-olds.
3 hours each morning for 4 days you will get the chance to run, jump, & throw.
Have fun learning the basics of hurdles, sprinting, javelin, hammer throw, shot put, long jump, high jump and discus.

In the Spring RECREATION REPORTER we offer a 7 week workshop for 9-13 year-olds.
Try out the various track and field disciplines such as hurdles, sprinting, javelin, hammer throw, shot put, long jump, high jump and discus.

Summer Recreational Programs
SUMMER TRACK CAMPS : 9-13 year-olds
Week-long summer camps will be posted to the Comox Valley Recreation's Planner again for 2016.
We will cover a wide range of events, including hurdles, sprints, jumps & throws. We will have a little bit of fun on Fridays with a 4-event mini meet so you can see how much you've learned.
9am - Noon, Monday-Friday
5 weeks are available throughout the summer.
