Training Information
Cougars train rain or shine, except in absolutely terrible weather. Updates to practices, including cancellations, will be posted our club's TeamSnap account.
Our club is pleased to be able to provide training opportunities in the following events.
Our Junior Development program trains three set days a week March - June. Event specific training is available between the final island series meet in June, and the BC Athletics provincial championship, typically held in July or August for athletes competing at the that meet.
Specific training days and times will be posted to our club's annual program guide once confirmed for the season.
The Athlete Development program, including Masters, will have different training days and times depending on the event(s) in which the athlete is participating.
Specific training days and times will be confirmed in the late winter or early spring.

- Sprints
- Hurdles
- Middle Distance running
- Horizontal Jumps (long jump & triple jump)
- Vertical Jumps (high jump & pole vault)
- Throws (javelin, discus, hammer, shotput)
