To register with the Comox Valley Cougars Track & Field Club for the 2024 season, all members (competitive athletes, training-only athletes, coaches, officials and associates) must hold an active membership with Athletics Canada / BC Athletics.
Please note, the club fee, which is paid directly to the club via e-transfer at time of registration does not include the membership with Athletics Canada / BC Athletics. The AC/BCA membership fees are paid online directly to AC/BCA at time of registration.

To register with the club:
- Review the membership types below to confirm the program you would like to join
- Download & complete the club registration form for your applicable membership type(s) and email them to registercvcougars@gmail.com, then pay the club fees directly to the club via e-transfer at time of registration
- Athlete Registration form (for competitive and training-only athletes - includes the parent volunteer consent form)
- Coach Registration form (used for club coaches only)
- Official & Associate Registration form (used for club officials and club associates only)
- Complete your registration with Athletics Canada / BC Athletics directly through our club's online portal and pay the AC/BCA fees directly to Athletics Canada / BC Athletics at time of registration

Membership Types
Junior Development Program - Open to athletes ages 9-13 years old (all ages are determined as of December 31st of the current competition year)
Includes the competition categories U10, U12, U14
The JD program runs from March 2nd, 2024 to the BC JD Provincial Championships, July 26th - 28th and includes up to three (3) training sessions per week, the meet entry fees for all the VIAA Island Series Meets, meet entry fees for the BC JD pentathlon championships, and the BC JD provincial championships.

Club Fee $400 paid directly to the club via e-transfer at time of registration
The club fee does not include the BC Athletics / Athletics Canada membership fees which are paid directly to AC/BCA during the online registration process.
Competition Singlet Fee $50
All competitive athletes must have a competition singlet. You do not need to purchase a new singlet each year, only purchase a singlet if you are a new member or a returning member that requires a new size.
An active membership with Athletics Canada / BC Athletics is required to register with the club. You can complete your AC/BCA membership registration directly through the club's online portal when club registration opens.

Athlete Development Program - Open to athletes ages 14 - 20 years+ (all ages are determined as of December 31st of the current competition year)
Includes the competition categories U16, U18, U20, and Senior
The athlete development program runs from March 2nd, 2024 - December 31, 2024 (with limited training/competitions Aug - Dec) and includes up to five (5) training sessions per week, the meet entry fees for all VIAA Island Series Meets, meet entry fees for the BC provincial championship jamboree, meet entry fees for the Legion Youth national championships and meet entry fees for the Bell Canadian national championships.

Club Fee $450 paid directly to the club via e-transfer at time of registration
The club fee does not include the BC Athletics / Athletics Canada membership fees which are paid directly to AC/BCA during the online registration process.

Training-only members do not need to purchase a competition singlet. If you choose to upgrade to a competitive membership, you will need to purchase a competition singlet.
